Wild Weekend in Wandenongs

My sister and I took mum aroung the Wild Wandenongs for some greenery time
at our favourite nurseries.

We had lunch at this lovely cafe.

We were so impressed we wnet back for afternoon tea there as well!!!!

They even have chocolate lunches in 2009...

Weekend at Fernies

Last weekend The Fern Society of Victoria had a meeting ina potting shed.
I have been a member of this for decades (surprise! surprise!).

We had a meeting in the potting shed of a large fern grower at Lara.

Thought you all might like to see some green growing stuff.

Secret Weekend Doings

Every now and then I break out of the Library mold and see growing things.

No, not the dust gathering at NEW but real green stuff.

A few weekends ago I helped my friend open her garden for Australia's Open Garden Scheme.
This was a real experience ( just like being on desk!!!!!!).

Here are a few photos of my friend's garden at Park Orchards, just your average couple of acres
